Our Mission
At our core, our mission is to ensure that Massachusetts provides equitable and accessible college education to all Dreamers who have attended our public high schools and have the aspiration to pursue higher education. We firmly believe that education is a fundamental right that should be available to everyone, and we aim to raise awareness about the importance of granting in-state tuition and financial aid to these deserving students.
Through the power of storytelling, compelling data, the support of our dedicated supporters, the collective voice of voters, and collaborations with national organizations, we strive to create a powerful movement that showcases the positive impact of tuition equity. By championing this cause, we seek to enrich the economic fabric of our Commonwealth and cultivate a more inclusive and prosperous society for all.
In-State Tuition: A Pathway to Opportunity
Currently, 23 states and the District of Columbia have enacted laws that provide tuition equity, with 17 states offering state financial aid as well. Massachusetts, with its vibrant immigrant population, recognizes the contributions of foreign-born residents to public school enrollment and the overall strength of our communities.
